OCAC Program Update
The OCAC pool repairs are targeted for completion the first week in October. The city is requiring a new agreement with ECCC and a change in the fee structure. ECCC is feverishly working behind the scenes to reach an agreement with the City on a Pool Usage Agreement for the Ocean City Aquatic Center. The city and ECCC started in-person negotiations at the beginning of 2024. We had no reason to believe agreements would still be an open issue at this point. We apologize for the unfortunate delay, we expect an answer from the city by Friday, September 13, 2024. If and when terms are reached, ECCC will be able to open up our 2024-25 Season Registration and start practicing in a temporary location while waiting on OC repairs to be completed.
